Meet your doula
Being a doula isn’t just a job to me , it’s a passion.
ABOUT ME.
ABOUT ME.
MY journey to becoming a DOULA
My journey to becoming a doula began as a labor and delivery nurse. After graduating with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Colorado Community College in 2022, I was immediately hired as an L&D nurse. I had known for years that obstetrics was my calling, a passion solidified by my work as an OB tech and an internship in labor and delivery. In December 2022, I welcomed my son into the world, and my own birth experience further deepened my commitment to maternal care.
Since then, I have had the privilege of supporting hundreds of women through labor and delivery, attending over 200 births. This experience has only reinforced my belief that supporting women during one of the most transformative moments of their lives is my life’s calling.
Driven by a passion for evidence-based care and a commitment to providing the highest quality support, I’ve dedicated myself to continuous learning. I regularly pursue professional development opportunities, whether through formal education, books, or podcasts on maternity care.
As I expanded my knowledge and reflected on my own birth experience, I became more aware of the gaps in the U.S. maternity care system. This inspired my transition to the role of a doula, where I can offer more personalized, holistic support to mothers navigating the complexities of pregnancy and childbirth. My goal is to help women access the best possible care while empowering them to feel confident, informed, and supported throughout their journey.

“Charlotte worked endlessly to help me achieve my goal of a pain free birth,...
…even when my baby wasn’t exactly cooperative to be monitored. She actively helped me with positioning, coping mechanisms, and talking me through contractions. She made sure I always had all of the information I needed to make informed decisions and actively involved my husband. Without her I’m not sure if I would have remained so calm through my birth.”
