Birth support

Packages starting at $1000

All packages include

  • During prenatal visits, we will get to know each other, discuss any previous births, overcome any fears, envision hopes and dreams, discuss logistics, create your birth plan, review comfort measures, establish roles for the support team and ensure you feel prepared when your baby’s birthday approaches. Number of prenatal visits is dependent on your chosen package. Prenatal visits are usually 60 to 90 minutes each.

  • I will be available throughout your pregnancy for emotional and informational support. You will be able to text or voice message me anytime and expect a prompt response. We can also schedule phone calls to discuss more in depth topics.

  • I will be on-call from 37 - 42 weeks. I will be available and ready to support you though all stages of labor.

  • When your labor begins, I will provide continuous support to you and your partner. In the early stages of labor, virtual support will be provided to suggest a variety of comfort measures for you and your partner. We will decide together when it is best to transition to in person support. This can look different for every labor. Sometimes this is meeting you at your home before traveling to your place of birth or meeting you at your birthing location. I will then remain with you until two hours after the birth of your baby. I can assist with initial breastfeeding, facilitate skin to skin with you and your partner, get food for you and your partner, or provide any other support that you need during the immediate postpartum period.

  • During your postpartum visit, we have an opportunity to reflect on your birth and discuss your birth story. You can also ask questions related to your postpartum recovery and newborn care. We can also assess any needs for further postpartum support. The structure of this visit is completely up to you as every mom has different postpartum needs. Number of postpartum visits is dependent on your chosen package. Postpartum visits are usually 60 to 90 minutes each.

POSTPARTUM care

  • Visits are three hours in length. Visits can be scheduled on weekdays from 6a-9a or 6p-9p. Morning visits are great for getting extra sleep after a long night and setting you up for a successful day. Evening visits are perfect for rest and recovery and starting your evening feeling rejuvenated.

  • During this visit we will get to know each other. We will cover topics such as normal postpartum healing, both physical and emotional, tools to assemble your postpartum support team and newborn care. We will also tentatively schedule your postpartum visits. All scheduled visits can be adjusted based on availability when your baby arrives.

Number of prenatal visits is dependent on your chosen package. Prenatal visits are usually 60 to 90 minutes each.

Prenatal visits can also be added to prep meals for your freezer, organize your postpartum essentials, review your baby registry or organize your nursery.

  • If you have any questions or you need emotional support, I am here for you. I will help you find the answers and solutions you need by providing evidence-based information. I will be the nonjudgmental and encouraging support you need during this transition.

  • I am here to assist with light housekeeping such as dishes, laundry and tidying. During my visits, I can prepare meals and snacks to keep you nourished.

  • Support through newborn care can look different for every family. Sometimes that looks like me caring for your baby while you shower or sleep. Other times support is me providing personalized education to help you with soothing techniques or infant feeding (breastfeeding, formula, or combination).

  • When I am not physically present, I am still available for emotional and informational support. You will be able to text or voice message me anytime and expect a prompt response. We can also schedule phone calls to discuss more in depth topics.

“She was very informative, supportive and compassionate through every stage.”

“As a first time mom I wasn’t really sure what to expect for delivery but the delivery with my son was nothing near what I anticipated. Charlotte made a huge difference in making my less than ideal delivery a learning moment and best of all being able to hold my healthy baby. She was very informative, supportive and compassionate through every stage. We cannot thank her enough for all she has done.”
